Coconut Lavender Scrub (Project: No Stretch Marks)

I call it, "Coconut Lavender Scrub," my pregnant sister-in-law calls it..."Project: No Stretch Marks."

The only thing I can really say is TRY IT! The moment you step out of the shower and towel dry your skin you will feel like a new person.

Enjoy!
Why?
Because you deserve it!

Coconut Lavender Scrub
2 cups coconut oil

2 cups kosher-cut sea salt or course granulated sugar
½ teaspoon of lavender oil (find online or at any health food location)
1 tablespoon dried lavender (optional)
1 tablespoon freshly chopped rosemary (optional)

*Note: If you're a real do-it-yourselfer this is a great place to use some of the almond meal or coconut meal left over from making your own nut milk.

Directions
Combine all the ingredients in a mixer.

Spread the mixture into ice cube trays and place in the freezer until fully solid.

Pop out the mini scrubs, place in an airtight contain (glass jars work brilliantly) and keep in your fridge.

How to Use:
Take a scrub cub out before your next shower. I typically use one every other day. After you have washed with soap or body wash take the cub and rub it over all of your skin. Be careful as the coconut oil can make the floor of your tub/shower extremely slippery. Rise with warm water and towel dry. You may feel a bit greasy at first, especially if you are not familiar with the experience but once you towel dry you will instantly feel like a new person.

**Note: If you have sensitive skin or really like to get your scrub-on, using a finer ground sugar or salt can be easier on your skin.

PS - This makes an incredible gift for any women in your life so make a bunch and share!
