Creamy. Delicious. Wonderfully healthy. This simple breakfast has everything you and the little ones need to start your day off on the right foot.
Whether you have a newborn, infant, toddler or school aged child, I'll bet that when it comes to breakfast, Mama comes last. Well guess what? If Mama isn't happy (fed!) nobody's happy! Mix this up the night before, and place in the fridge overnight for a quick and filling breakfast. Try it with any in-season fruit, and don't be surprised if you don't want to share! This breakfast is easy, nutritious and tastes like dessert!
1 cup Greek yogurt**
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon chia
½ cup rolled oats (gluten-free)
1 orange juiced
Pinch of salt
10 strawberries (you can use any fruit in season)
**For non-dairy option choose a vegan option like Nogurt or coconut based yogurt.
Mix together first six ingredients and let stand for 20 minutes for oats to become soft. Can be made the night before.
In a glass, make layers of yogurt and berries. Enjoy!
