Loaded with vitamins and antioxidants this smoothie is a great way to start your day and also great as mid-morning or late afternoon snack.
Put those frozen cranberries to good use and fill up on the calcium, fiber, iron and Vitamin E this sweet smoothie provides. Enjoy!
1 cup almond milk (homemade recipe)
½ cup naked roasted pumpkin (BPA-free canned pumpkin can be substituted)
½ cup frozen cranberries
¼ fresh avocado
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon chia (optional)
½ teaspoon cinnamon
2 ice cubes
1 pinch of sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender.
Blend until smooth.
Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick for added pizzazz.
