Dietary Info

½ cups rolled oats (gluten-free)
1 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon Blackstrap Molasses (Unsulfured)
1 pinch of salt

Fruit Topping
7 blackberries, halved
4 strawberries, sliced
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 pinch ground cloves

Soaked Walnuts
2 tablespoons walnuts (benefits and how-to’s of soaking nuts)
1/2 cup purified water
1 pinch of salt

For added sweetness top finished oatmeal with 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup.

In a small bowl mix the oats, chia, blackstrap molasses, pinch of salt and almond milk. Mix thoroughly to ensure the chia seeds do not clump together. Cover mixture and place it in the refrigerator.

Place the walnuts in a separate bowl. Cover them with a half cup of water, or until the nuts are fully covered, and add a pinch of salt. Here too, just cover the bowl and place them in your fridge.

When you wake-up in the morning give the oat mixture a few turns with a spoon. The oats and chia will have absorbed the almond milk overnight and should be the perfect consistency. If the oats seem a bit too thick, feel free to add more almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.

Drain the water from the walnuts and give them a quick rinse. Mix the walnuts and fruit together, place on top of the oatmeal and you’re done.

Easy. Simple. Delicious!
