Water. We all need it and few of us get enough of it. But let's face it, many of us don't drink it because, well, it's kind of boring.
If you're pregnant or nursing and have started focusing on getting your fill, it can be just another "must do" on the list.
But why not make your water consumption more exciting?
These quick flavored water recipes can be made in just minutes and will have you grabbing for your water bottle all day long - turning that "must do" into a "want to do" instantly. I promise, these mixes of fruits and herbs are just as lovely to look at as they are delicious. Kids love them too!
Make some flavored waters first thing in the morning and in two hours the flavors will be popping. Once you've finished, just add more water to your bottle and the fruits and herbs will continue to impart their flavor.
**The fruits will last for about 48 hours after which I suggest tossing them and starting again.
Strawberry, Mint & Ginger Water
(The tummy settler)
4 strawberries (sliced)
3 mint leaves (rolled or smacked to release the oils)

4 cups water
**Smash the ginger with the dull end of your knife handle to help release some of the flavor before adding it to your water bottle.
**This can be great for women who are experiencing morning sickness. Make a bottle the night before and have some first thing in the morning.
